In Roemenië leven nog steeds veel jongeren op straat. De meeste van hen zijn opgegroeid in een kindertehuis. Op straat komen zij in aanraking met alcohol, diefstal en prostitutie. Uiteindelijk belanden zij daardoor in de gevangenis of krijgen met verkrachting te maken. Sinds 1996 zet Olga van Lavieren zich in voor deze doelgroep.
